 Open LetterFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEThe Tellian Conservative and Liberal Parties hereby announce a temporary merger. The Union, entitled The Liberation Party, is created out of neccessity. Politicians and citizens with common goals but differing ideas are now banding together to battle the threat of Communist and Katyushan Influence in their nation. The Liberation Party is dedicated to ridding Tellia of all traces of Communism and will remain active until it is no longer needed. The Liberal and Conservative Parties of Tellia will continue to operate separately after the threat has been eradicated. God Bless Tellia! The King has now resorted to forced mergers of political parties using aliases. This disgusting abuse of the political system is exactly the reason ordinary Tellians are signing up to the Communist Party in even greater numbers.

You and whose army? Over half of the members of the armed forces have now signed up to the Communist Party. They are enjoying being able to eat properly, thanks to the soup kitchens provided free by the Katyushan People.
