Christopher walked down the dark hallway, angry at having been awakened three hours ahead of schedule. As he strode into main lobby of Halton Manor (He changed residences twice weekly now) he was surprised to see a relatively calm Gudio Zambelis being held by two black suited General Administration Agents. To the right of this group stood a beaming General Administrator, Will Tomsett.
"Your Majesty..." He said, taking in Christopher's expression.
"Monsignor Tomsett...Congratulations."
"Thank you, Your Majesty."
"Take Mr. Zambelis to some deserted Prison. Interrogate him. Do not release him. The General Administration will hold a trial...and he will be convicted of whatever charges you come up with and he will be imprisoned for life. Am I clear?"
"Of course, Your Majesty." The General Administrator said uneasily.
"Good...And I expect the General Administration to work towards eradicating the Communist threat entirely...But I am quite sure that the Party will destabilize without Katyushan help."
"Yes, I imagine so. And I will have the Security Level lowered to 2."
"Yes...Very good." The King said, patting his old friend on the shoulder.
"We will meet tomorrow." He said, turning. As he walked back towards his quarters he smiled to himself. Order, Peace, and Democracy could return...Finally.
