In light of the impending arrival of Hurricane Gustav, I believe we Tellians should congratulate the local, state, and federal officials who have been so closely involved in arranging for the safety and security of people along the Gulf Coast. The serious lessons learned three years ago in the aftermath of Katrina and Rita have been hard-won, but now the people in the affected regions are evacuating instead of trying to "ride the storm out"
As an official of the government of Tellia, I propose we send to the region emergency supplies that will help ease the suffering of those who will be affected by this enormous storm.

Where do you propose we find these emergency supplies? How are we going to get the helicopter to fly it in? Or do you mean donating through a charity?

Point of information: how will we find the funds to donate, or will this be more of an individual commitment?

I'll volunteer to handle this. That is what I meant by "I can take care of this."
It won't be much, but...I'll do what I can.
