Opening Video
The flag of The Kingdom is blowing gently in the wind as the National Anthem is played softly. As the camera pans down and zooms out, Collins Place Palace comes into view.
The music quietens as the narrator begins to speak. "The Monarchist Coalition of The Kingdom of Tellia is proud to present His Royal Majesty, Christopher I, King of our great nation!"
The music fades, and the King walks through the front doors of the palace and to a podium set up nearby.

Hello! I am so sorry that I have been unable to attend either of the conventions of our two great political parties. Even though I cannot be there in person, I am glad to have had the chance to record a message for you.
Tonight, I'll be brief. What I would like to do is tell you a story. It's a story about a family whose lives have been effected by the Communist Uprising more than most. This is the story of Cecil, LeAnn, and Stella Wallace.
Cecil was born in Romero. His single mother worked as an aide in the Palace, while her son was taken care of by an Aunt. I had the privilege of meeting Cecil when he was 8, and when his mother retired, we remained in contact. He wrote a total of 234 letters to me over a period of just a few years. I grew to know a great deal about the young man, and we became great friends.
Two years ago, Cecil was fresh out of the University of Romero when I hired him as an adviser. He was one of my closest friends and confidantes, and helped me make decisions on a daily basis.
Two months ago, Cecil didn't show up for work. After calls to his house weren't answered, I sent an assistant to to see if everything was okay.
The young assistant found that the house had been ransacked. The family was nowhere to be found. She immediately phoned the authorities, and I found out what had happened a short time later.
After weeks of worrying, the family was located just a month ago. As a group of extremists fled their base, the family was left behind. They had been beaten, and they had been tortured. These Communists had seen an opportunity to take someone close to me, hoping that they could break my spirit and the spirit of our people.
Cecil was nearly killed, with 12 bones broken and his entire body left bloody and bruised. His daughter and wife were hospitalized with fractions, cuts and bruises.
My emotions were a whirlwind when I first saw Cecil, after the first of many surgeries. I was overjoyed to see him, saddened that this had happened because of his relationship with me, and bitterly angry with the Communists and the entire situation in my nation.
Thankfully, things have gotten better in past weeks. There are a lot of great people in our Government and with their help we have survived through one of the greatest struggles of our time. This nation did not give up hope, and so I did not give up hope.
So my message to you today is a message that I want heard by both parties. It is a message that all of you should understand. I want you to set aside your party affiliations, your anger and your bitterness and come together to make sure that this nation is safe from threats like the one we faced just weeks ago. Make our nation strong and safe once more!
Your work and strength continuously inspire me, and I am proud that you care about this nation so much. I am truly in awe of the work you do.
May God Bless all of you, and may God Bless Tellia!
