Song of Salvation is one of the largest passenger ships ever constructed, carrying over 5000 passengers. The ship was ordered in early 2006 and is expected to enter service in the Summer of 2009.
Her name was chosen by her Chief Architect, a devoted member of the Church of Tellia. He was ordained by the Church in 2004 and joined the project in mid 2006. Today, he continues to work for the RBC (Royal Benacian Corp.) on various luxury ship projects.
The ship is expected to operate cruises between the Tellian Mainland and Viganera. RBC representatives have stated that the average Song of Salvation cruise will allow passengers to 'experience many different cultures', suggesting the ship may stop in ports around the world.
Room rates range from T1156 to T7225 (T - Telreals, which are pegged to half the value of the British Pound). Anything from a standard double occupant Hotel-style room to a Royal Suite is available. All guests will experience uncommon luxury aboard one of the greatest Cruise Ships ever to set sail.
The ship will host a total of 16 Passenger Decks, will be 1181 Feet Long, and will 154 feet wide. It will travel at roughly 21.4 knots and will host a total tonnage of 223,000 GRT.
The ship is the first in the RBC Line of more enviromentally friendly ships, which drop off waste containers while at port.
The ship will feature wheelchair accessible rooms, lavish Royal Suites consisting of 6 rooms each, and many amenities for guests to enjoy. Included among these are four bars, six swimming pools, two arcades, four restaurants, and more.
The ship will feature nightly shows, including those specifically for the entire family and those for the adult's night out. A mall, ice cream parlors, saunas, hot tubs, gyms, bowling alleys, movie theaters, a salon, mini-golf, volleyball, basketball, tennis, rock walls, clubs, an ice skating rink, and a casino will all add to the guest's experience.
Pre-orders for tickets are being taken now. The Song of Salvation is expected to be just the first in a line of powerful Cruise Ships released by the RBC.
