Hehe, yeah, Bobbie, your welcome too!
I am currently about 20 pages in to a reread of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Any Harry Potter fans here?

I did like it a lot and JK Rowlings a great author, but I wouldn't say I'm a 'fan' as such lol. I have all of the books though.. Not re-reading any at the minute though.

Yeah. My teacher borrowed by Deathly Hallows, so, I have been forced to read a rather tedious biography of George Washington for a class. It isn't TOO bad.

sounds it.. lol I'm currently reading 'Macbeth' for English Class.. doing an essay on it too. Its quite a good play.. once you know what all 'ye olde English' means. At home, I'm reading 'Insomnia - Stephen King' At the minute. Its quite interesting. Very rich, real-life storyline. As is most of his works.. even if it is fictional horror.

Hmmm...I just finished Angels and Demons by Dan Brown and then I read the latest Percy Jackson book. Wasn't very good....The series was better when I was like 12.

Still, it seems to be a social requirement to have read his books.

Hehe.
I'm on a bit of a Classical Literature kick at the moment. I have compiled a reading list that includes most of the obvious reads. I am currently working on Pride and Prejudice and will begin Sense and Sensibility and Emma soon.

You might wish to rent the Austin movies to see what the times and settings were like. The BBC has done a number of really good versions, but one that came out recently on Mansfield Park is not true to the book, and takes a lot of liberties with all elements, inserting 21st century sensibilities where they do not belong. The A & E version of Northanger Abbey is also strange, and not worth bothering with. Persuasion is good, several Pride and Prejudice versions are as well, Sense and Sensibility is very good, but a bit short because it was a theatrical release rather than a miniseries. Mansfield Park from about 20 years ago is wonderful.

Ahh, yeah. I have seen the 1940 and 2005 versions of Pride and Prejudice, but I haven't seen any movies for her other novels (nor have I read any of them, yet).
