Pride and prejudice is on my reading list as well. I will hopefully arrive there before the end of the year -nods-

I am a Potter fan as well. My daughter borrowed her friend's copy of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which her grandmother sent her from England. That was just before it arrived here in the States as the Sorcerer's Stone. I have enjoyed reading J.K.Rowling's books ever since.

Ooh, that's really interesting. I've never actually heard of anyone reading the Harry Potter books before they became huge.

She has a ton of ideas all blended together. Although, I do commend her on a good wrap up. I believe the details near the end could have been better, but she did a good job.

Well, there were some boring parts, but overall it was my favorite. The latter books in the series are my favorites...My order goes like this, basically: Deathly Hallows Order of The Phoenix Half Blood Prince Goblet of Fire Prisoner of Azkaban Sorcerers Stone Chamber of Secrets

Has anyone read the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett? These are my new favorites.

I've heard of the author, not the books though. I should add them to my reading list

I have been reading 'King Arthur and the acts of his Noble Knights' by John Steinbeck. It's a very interesting variation on King Arthur. Diffinatley goes up there on my Fantasy and adventure lists.

I know, I had no idea either. All I've ever heard about were the Grapes of Wrath and Mice And Men etc. But it's very interesting

Anyone ever read 'A Clockwork Orange'? It took me a while to get into it, but it's an amazing book.
